An Illinois woman is facing drug trafficking charges in Asheville. Montreace Akara Teshna Martin, 22, of South Elgin, Ill., was charged Friday with two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession of hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia, and providing fictitious information to an officer, according to warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate’s office. Martin is accused of having 235 grams of cocaine and 17.6 grams of hashish. She is being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $62,000 bond.
