Sex addiction is back in the news. Russell Brand, gardening as a substitute for his sex addictions.

My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex, Drugs, and Stand-UpSex addiction is back in the news. Russell Brand, Katy Perry's husband, was highlighted in Ecorazzi on March 29, 2011 for turning to gardening as a substitute for his sex addictions. Although Brand, in talking with MSNBC yesterday "joked, making light of his past troubles, which have included issues with drugs, alcohol and sex addiction" the subject of sex addiction is serious business.  Whenever a celebrity makes such news, as did Tiger Woods, it is an educational opportunity as well as a look at an disorder for which some may seek healing.

Sometimes people wonder, "Am I a sex addict?"  And if in fact they are, here is what sex therapist Dr. Aline Zoldbrod, tells us: "If you answer 'yes' to questions posed here 8uabout sex addiction, you deserve to take a path towards healing.”

A Diplomate in Sex Therapy by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists and a psychologist, Boston’s Dr. Zoldbrod has a list that helps one determine whether or not he or she is suffering from sex addiction.
